+ Account Executive

About the role

The Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and developing meaningful relationships with new and existing clients. This role will see you describe insurable risk, design appropriate insurance solutions, negotiate, and manage the best deal in the insurance market. You will develop strong business relationships with our underwriting partners and promote the Laurel Insurance Agency & Associates brand within the local business community.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience in corporate insurance broking

• Tier 1 insurance broking qualification, or willingness to complete as part of our training and development program

• A passion for client servicing and sales

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and time management skills

• An enthusiastic team player

+ Customer Service Specialist

Position summary:

The Customer Service Specialist Serves as a liaison between customers and the sales and service staff, with a focus of providing exemplary support and assistance.

Essential duties:

Provides customer service to a variety of customers over the phone.

Responsible for the service of existing clients, such as identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction.

Receive and respond to customer service inquiries both written and verbal.

Follow-up on customer issues, research problems, and process documents necessary to ensure a successful resolution.

Handles calls and correspondence that are predominantly routine but may require some deviation from standard procedures.
